The HBADE has been selected to receive a 2011 NAHB Research Center Green Partner Award.  We were selected  for our success in advancing green building within the community and the State of Delaware, and overall leadership and commitment to high performance Green Certified homes.

Several of our members were also recognized and are award recipients.  Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County, Accredited Verifier Joe Gordon, and Schell Brothers have all received the award in recognition of seeing the value in an independent, third-party certification and their significant commitment to green certification, innovation in building science, and leadership in the residential construction industry.
