Loans for Heroes special financing of almost $7MM is been allocated

Sometimes, good things are in short supply.  We recently blogged about this program. Although it had been earlier publicized, we had no idea it would be so helpful so quickly to 37 Veterans.  Consider the following announcement today from Delaware State Housing Authority

Loans for Heroes special financing of almost $7MM has been allocated.  We thank Lenders for their good work in reaching Veterans with this reduced rate product.  As this set aside was “first come; first serve” 100% of available funds have been committed.  With this product, DSHA and our partners assisted 37 Veterans purchase their home.  We encourage lenders to continue accessing “Welcome Home” and “Home Again” products for their VA or other loans for Veterans.

The reduced rates for Veterans will no longer be available, but our standard rates will continue to be very competitive.

And don’t forget, DSHA provides mortgage funding sources to first time, and now repeat buyers. Check their website for current information:
