DNREC Public Hearing New Regulations for Septic Systems

DNREC has scheduled a public hearing for November 21, 2013, beginning at 6:00 pm in the DNREC’s R & R Building’s auditorium located at 89 Kings Highway, Dover, Delaware.  DNREC has made numerous revisions to the Regulations Governing the Design, Installation and Operation of On-Site Wastewater Treatment and Disposal Systems in order to thoroughly address comments and concerns received to date.  The final draft regulations are uploaded and available on the DNREC web-site for your review.

When you visit the web-site (link below) you will find the final draft version (Draft Clean Version of the Amended Regulations (October 24, 2013)) showing what the final document wording is with all the changes having been incorporated.  A final version of the draft Exhibits (Wastewater Regulation Exhibits (October 24, 2013)) are located on the web-site also near the bottom of the list (alphabetical order).

If you build on lots with septic systems you should take a close look at these.
