Wilmington, DE – Delaware Today’s 2013 Women In Business honorees will be announced in the December issue of Delaware Today magazine, on newsstands November 28.
The December issue of the magazine includes a substantive editorial feature recognizing the accomplishments of 33 professionals from across the state of Delaware. Delaware Today editors chose these women for their proven success and their remarkable strides in business, nonprofit and academic fields.
“We feel a great deal of pride when we produce the annual Women in Business feature,” says Dr. Maria Hess, editor-in-chief of Delaware Today. “Our goal is to introduce our readers to outstanding leaders whojust happen to be women. And each of the 33 individuals that we’ll feature has a great story to tell.”
Delaware Today will honor the women cited in the December issue at both an upstate and downstate luncheon. This year’s Women in Business upstate luncheon will be held on Tuesday, December 3, at the ChaseCenter on the Riverfront, and the downstate luncheon will be held on Thursday, December 5, at Bear Trap Dunes.
Inspirational keynote speakers highlight these events. NBC10 anchor Tracy Davidson will emcee the upstate event, which also will feature Dr. Janice E. Nevin, the chief medical officer of Christina Care Health System. The downstate keynote speaker will be Deborah Brenner, the author and founder of Women of the Vine.
The luncheons will also provide guests with the opportunity to network, connect, share ideas and enjoy camaraderie with women statewide.
