HBADE Legislative Reception A Big Success

HBADE Legislative Reception A Big Success

Last week, HBADE held a legislative reception so that members of our State legislators could meet and greet with our membership. You see, typically our elected legislators in Dover only see HBADE as our Legislative Consultants, or our Staff.

Nearly HALF of the General Assembly attended our reception at Dover Downs, and chatted with almost an equal number of builders, engineers, consultants, bankers, lawyers, suppliers and subcontractors.

It was very nice that Representative Helene Keeley and Representative Stephanie Bolden presented to member Kevin Kelly, a “Tribute to Kevin Kelly from the Delaware House of Representatives. In addition to the actual proclamataion, both Keeley and Bolden their own experiences having deal with Kevin over the years in his tireless efforts as a fighter for housing in Delaware.

It was a successful and fun event as we were able to talk with the legislators about issues important to housing in Delaware! Thank you so much to Amanda Kaye of Exposed Branches Photography.
