Last Friday members and associates of the Home Builder’s Association of Delaware competed with friends, family, and colleagues in the first ever HBADE Sporting Clay Mixer.
The event took place at Owen’s Station, in Greenwood, Delaware. There, armed with shotguns, shooters took their place in the firing stands and shot down clay targets as they whirled through the air.
After completing a station, shooters walked to the next one. Overall, they had to conquer 8 stations. Each station changing the flight pattern of the clay targets, forcing shooters to adapt to new circumstances.
After all the shots had been fired, everyone got a chance to unwind, mingle, and brag about their performance over cocktails and lunch.
The event received overwhelmingly positive feedback as shooters cheered at the prospect of a second Sporting Clay Mixer.
After all was said and done, awards were handed out. Shooters were broken into 3 tiers based on their skill. The top contenders from each tier received awards.
Congratulations to John Camelio for winning for the gun raffle.
