Delaware Today Nears the 2014 Best of Delaware Party

Wilmington, DE (July 10, 2014) – Delaware Today magazine’s 26th annual Best of Delaware Party, which brings Delaware’s “Best” restaurants and service providers together at one time, will be held at the Chase Center on the Riverfront on July 17 from
6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The Best of Delaware Party is one of the most popular events in Delaware, drawing more than 1,500 guests each year. A variety of entertainers will perform throughout the evening, including Jellyroll, Sean “Sinatra” Reilly, George Weldon Jazz, Dave Matthews and BlueBallRoom Dance Studio and Club.

Nearly 100 of the winners will be participating at the event to showcase their winning dishes, drinks, products and services. The Chesapeake Inn, Grotto Pizza, Walter’s Steakhouse, Nage, Old World Breads and Harry’s Seafood Grill are just a few of the participating winners.

Proceeds from the Best of Delaware Party have provided funding to Delaware charitable organizations over the last 25 years through the Today Media Charitable Foundation. This year’s beneficiaries are Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay and The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation.

Party tickets are available at Tickets are $55 in advance, or $70 at the door. A VIP ticket, which includes entrance to a preview party from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. and first dibs on the hot items, can be purchased for $75. Parties of 10 or more can purchase tickets for $50 each.
