On Saturday, March 21, 2015 over 250 people attended the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and the Grand Opening of The Somerset, Noble’s Pond’s newest Model Home and the first in the Cottage Collection. After a festive Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and comments from both Developer and Builder, Harry Miller and Delaware State Senator, Dave Lawson, VIP tours were provided to all guests to see the “Hottest Little Cottage North of Key West.”  This new cottage collection features design concepts inspired by cottage home styles from across the United States.  “This collection offers homebuyers a smaller footprint featuring open floorplans with affordability, functionality and charm,” states Dorothy Carey, Housing Concierge.  Carey went on to say, “We designed the Cottage Collection based on input from visitors and current residents living in Noble’s Pond and we’re delighted to debut the Somerset model at this time,”

In addition to touring the new Somerset Cottage model, guests had the opportunity to visit three other model homes, a fully furnished “Move-in Ready” home and multiple homes that are currently under construction. The Point, the Noble’s Pond Clubhouse and the heart of all activity in the community, was open during the festivities. Staying with the Key West theme, guests were treated to a lunch of “Cheeseburgers in Paradise” and Key Lime Pie shooters.

Every visitor touring The Somerset model home had the opportunity to enter to win a pair of Panama Jack Adirondack chairs. The lucky winners, soon-to-be homeowners at Noble’s Pond, Ann and George, were delighted to hear they won the chairs. This fun couple is ready to join the Noble’s Pond family and start enjoying all the activities, functions and trips offered at the community.

Colleen Ostafy, the Noble’s Pond Lifestyle Director, organized a dance performance with a group of neighborhood ladies. Visitors were delighted to see the show and view firsthand one of the many fun activities enjoyed by residents in the Noble’s Pond community.
