HBA/DE Call to Action! Ramp Build Volunteers Needed!

The Home Builders Association of Delaware is looking for a crew of volunteers for our 2015 Ramp Build Program.

As you know, in the past we’ve constructed a handicap ramp for an elderly woman in Newark. This year we were alerted to a very sick Air Force veteran and his wife living in Dover needing a ramp.

We are completing the building permit plans and shortly will submit for approval by the City of Dover.

Can you help? We will need a half dozen volunteers  for sometime between mid-May and the end of June (no experience necessary) to help build the ramp so that our military veteran will no longer be confined to his house.  We will only need your help for one day, we expect the build will take 2 -3 days so we need 3-4 volunteers each day.

If you can help, please contact us at
