Science & Engineering Firm Welcomes New Principal Owners Rudy and Apostolico

New Castle, Del., July 15, 2015, the board of directors of Landmark Science & Engineering, one of the region’s largest consulting site/civil engineering, environmental and land surveying firms, is pleased to announce that two new principals have joined the firm: Keith A. Rudy, P.E., LEED AP and Helen V. Apostolico, with a mutual commitment to help the company grow and prosper as the firm begins its 29th year in business.


Keith Rudy is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University where he earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering and a B.S. in Engineering and Public Policy. Mr. Rudy is a licensed professional engineer in Delaware and New Jersey and is certified as a LEED accredited professional. He has 23 years of experience in civil engineering projects, with broad exposure to the fields of environmental, geotechnical, site/civil design, water resources, planning, and construction review. Keith has been with Landmark for over five years and serves as Director of Sciences and Water Resources and Vice President of Operations. He is the current president of the Manufactured Housing Installation Board and is a member of the DAPE Law Enforcement / Ethics Committee.

Keith and his wife, Linda, reside in the Millcreek area with their two children who are students at St. John the Beloved and Skyline Middle Schools. Keith is actively involved as a Cubmaster for Pack 205 at Holy Angels and a committee member for Boy Scout Troop 50 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church. He is licensed as a soccer coach and a Delaware Soccer Referee. For Delaware Rush, he has been an Age Group Coordinator for instructional soccer for 14 seasons and a Coach/Assistant Coach.


Helen Apostolico earned a M.S. in Accounting at Widener University and a B.S. in Consumer Economics at University of Delaware. Mrs. Apostolico has 21 years of experience working in financial business management. She has worked at Landmark for four years and currently serves as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Helen and her husband, Jim, reside in Hockessin with their two children who are students at University of Delaware and Padua Academy.
