HBADE Participates in Regional Builder Association Meeting

The Home Builders Association of Delaware attended a regional builder and builder-association forum this past week in Atlantic City.

Held the day prior to the kickoff of the New Jersey Builder Association’s 67th Annual Atlantic Builder’s Conference, the meeting enabled HBADE to network with their counterpart builder members’ and HBA staff persons on mutual issues affecting them. Attending the meeting were representatives from Delaware, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.

It was interesting to find that they share many of the same issues such as over-zealous stormwater management regulations and fire sprinkler regulations in new home construction.

Following the forum we were invited to attend the NJBA’s annual Board of Directors meeting to address their accomplishments and elect 2016 Board and Officer members; and then attend their annual awards luncheon.
