Noble’s Pond and USO Delaware have teamed up and invite residents, relatives and friends and, in fact, anyone who applauds the benefits the USO provides America’s service men and women to a special event. To be held at the Noble’s Pond Clubhouse on Saturday, September 10th, it’s sure to make a momentous splash as the idea is for folks to slip on their bathing suits, crash through the event banner and do one’s splashiest cannonball to help us “Stuff The Pool.” The entire day is dedicated to raising funds in support of all the good works the USO does for our men and women in uniform. So the more willing to take the plunge, the merrier. Notably, Senator Dave Lawson will be on hand to provide perspective on the importance of USO Delaware. It promises to be an informative celebration filled with live music, fun-foods and exciting flag-waving events. More importantly, it will give attendees an opportunity to learn about the many programs, benefits and facilities the USO provides to all those who serve and to their families. Not a pool person? Not to worry. All landlubbers are welcome to lend their support poolside…as well as feel free to chuckle at those who chose to go Speedo.

Of course, Noble’s Pond is especially proud to support USO Delaware and all it does. Coming into being during the Persian Gulf Conflict in 1991, its vision is to better serve the nearly 85,000 military members and their families who move through Dover Air Force Base. It also serves the 436th Active Duty Wing, the 512th Reserve Wing and the Delaware National Guard Team. Providing space available travel for retired military veterans, it also maintains facilities that see to the needs of our service men and women, such as the USO Delaware Center. Amenities there include a theater room, a free internet café, private living areas, shower facilities, a gaming area, and a kitchen offering free snacks and microwave meals.  USO Volunteers, of course, are always on hand to provide travelers assistance and referral services. In addition, USO Delaware provides for services at the Charles C. Carson Mortuary, a beautiful facility with similar amenities that brings much needed stress relief for the Silent Heroes who support this solemn mission.  It is the USO’s profound honor to serve every conceivable need they may encounter during their daunting mission of bringing home our Fallen Heroes.

USO Delaware is not a DOD/Government agency and depends on dedicated volunteers who give their time, talents and services and on private citizens, companies and corporations to financially support its commitment to our service members and families.
All are invited to help Stuff The Pool and to show those who put their lives on the line to keep us safe that we’re behind them all the way. Festivities begin at 3:30 at The Point, the Noble’s Pond clubhouse. Donations will be accepted at the event and all proceeds benefit USO Delaware.

Noble’s Pond is an amenity rich, active adult community, filled with yesterday’s charm but created for today’s active lifestyles. Located just minutes from downtown Dover, Delaware, the community offers unique and flexible floorplans, a breathtaking clubhouse with outdoor pool, kitchen, bocce courts, putting green, nature trails and a community garden, all situated amid the serene surroundings of Noble’s Pond. The Noble’s Pond Welcome Center, Clubhouse and Model Homes are open Monday through Saturday 10am – 5pm and Sunday Noon to 5pm. For more information call 1.888.222.0030 or visit
