As a member of the Government Affairs Committee, the Leadership and Legacy Ball Committee, the Hammer and Nails Committee and a founding member of the Mid-Atlantic 55+ Council, it’s clear Noble’s Pond Vice President and General Manager Mary Field is a dedicated mover and shaker in the Delaware home building community. So it comes as no surprise the Home Builders Association of Delaware has named her this year’s “Builder of the Year.” Presented annually, the prestigious “Leon N. Weiner Builder of the Year Award” recognizes a builder who has made outstanding and exceptional contributions during the year. As anyone who’s had the opportunity to work with Mary Field can attest, that describes her perfectly.

With more than 26 years experience in community management, marketing, advertising, and public relations, Mary is a true professional who embraces the opportunity to work with prospective homebuyers. “I just love the homebuilding industry. To me, homeownership is synonymous with the American Dream. It is truly an honor that my life work allows me to assist people in making their dreams come true.” Then again, Mary is typically demure about her accomplishments but, as always, is most effusive about the role that Noble’s Pond plays in helping people achieve that goal.

“We’re building a community that makes life a true pleasure for all who live here,” she proudly adds. With good reason. The winner of numerous regional and national awards, Noble’s Pond is recognized as Delaware’s premiere 55+ community. Offering an array of beautifully designed and quality-built homes, potential buyers easily find the home of their dreams. In addition, unlike many cookie-cutter communities, the willingness to customize each home to suit the customer’s wishes gives Noble’s Pond a distinct advantage. As Mary puts it, “If you can dream it, we can build it.”

Further, the community features a state-of-the art clubhouse, with library, fitness center, computer center, creative center and game room. There’s an outdoor swimming pool with Olympic-size lap lane, as well as tennis, pickle ball and Bocce courts, nature trails, a putting green, and large community gardens. In addition, residents regularly enjoy trips, pot luck dinners, comedy nights, and parties. It’s all so thoughtfully conceived for the active 55+ lifestyle, it’s no surprise the awards keep rolling in. “What’s not to love,” adds the Builder of the Year award winner, “it’s the home of your dreams in a community you’ll love.”

Noble’s Pond is an amenity rich, active adult community, filled with yesterday’s charm but created for today’s active lifestyles. Located just minutes from downtown Dover, Delaware, the community offers unique and flexible floorplans, a breathtaking clubhouse with outdoor pool, kitchen, bocce courts, putting green and a community garden, all situated amid the serene surroundings of Noble’s Pond. The Noble’s Pond Welcome Center, Clubhouse and Model Homes are open Monday through Saturday 10am – 5pm and Sunday Noon to 5pm. For more information call 1.888.222.0030 or visit
