HBADE Prepares for Legislative Watch

We will hold our annual Legislative Watch Friday, June 30th in Dover, starting at 5:30 pm where we gather with sandwiches and beverages for a quick legislative briefing from our Legislative Consultants.  Then we head over to Leg Hall — to be ready to jump if something new or unexpected arises.  If you’ve never been before, the legislative process is quite an education. You NEVER know what’s going to happen or could arise literally at the 11th hour.  Start at 5:30 pm it runs till whenever they recess that evening – could be midnight or later (although all can leave at whatever time you want.) Come get a firsthand glimpse of how the state political legislation process works!

Karins Makes Zweig 2017 Hot Firm List

June 2, 2017 – Newark, DE – Zweig Group announced the release of the 2017 Hot Firms List, an annual ranking of the fastest-growing firms in the architecture, engineering, planning, and environmental consulting industry.  Ranking is based 50 percent on percentage growth rate and 50 percent on dollar revenue growth rate, over the previous three-year period.  For the second year in a row Karins and Associates made the list, this year breaking into the TOP 100 LIST at #92.

“We have made a few acquisitions over the last three years to help us diversify our regional presence,” says Dev Sitaram, president of Karins.  “The most recent in 2016, Momenee, Inc. in Bryn Mawr, PA, has helped our firm grow revenue, staff and our brand in Pennsylvania.  I am very proud of our employees and am honored to be leading our team.  This award, and recognition, is a testament to the hard work and dedication our employees have to our clients.”

“Getting on the Hot Firm List is like winning an Oscar. It says you are the best at what you do – running an A/E/P or environmental consulting firm – in an industry made up of 100,000 companies,” said Mark Zweig, chairman & founder of Zweig Group.  This ranking, established over twenty years ago, is the only list celebrating and honoring growth in the industry.

With a staff of professional engineers, professional land surveyors, survey crews, designers and support services, Karins offers services including civil/site engineering and land development, surveying and high density laser scanning, stormwater management/water resources, utility planning and engineering, transportation, and construction permitting.  Karins has offices in Newark and Georgetown, DE and Momenee in Bryn Mawr, PA.  For more information, contact pnelson@karinsengineering.com.
